She believes all couples deserve the luxury of simply enjoying their day, start to finish. With a degree in Fine Art Photography, Emily is creative to the core. She has a passion for capturing timeless images that tell your story through real, unscripted moments.

Her main goal as your photographer is to ensure you love the entire experience. She’ll be your best friend for the day, helping you feel confident and comfortable!

About The Owner

Emily has been a creative at heart her whole life. And she channels that energy into everything she does. Both professionally and personally. She’s an an inclusive ally, animal rights advocate, and modern day hippie of sorts. She loves gardening, cooking and teaching calligraphy workshops.

Her two rescue dogs, and crazy cat, accompany her on walks in the woods and keep her company while she’s in the garden too. Her favorite time of year is late summer, when the sunlight is just starting to take on a golden hue, the garden is full of abundance, it’s still warm enough to swim but cool enough for bonfires. If there’s a cheap international flight deal, you best believe she’s booking that trip – and she has no problem traveling solo!

Some of her recent adventures included Cuba, Germany, Greece and Spain. It was a trip to Italy in high school that made her really passionate about film photography. When she returned, she started photographing friends senior portraits, and after college that turned into photographing weddings.

She started Poppie Studios in 2014 and has never looked back!
